One of the crucial foundations to any sucessful music event, be it a rave, a festival or an intimate club show, is the production. Countless hours and a lot of blood, sweat and tears goes into the physical component of the party. I wouldn't be doing the hardworking men and women involved in production justice if I didn't showcase their work here on my site.
I guess you could say I've worked at just about every hard style event over the last 4 years, I feel blessed to have made so many friends in the industry working with the best of the best. I have so many memories from so many different events.
Over the years i have been fortunate enough to work with many trance artists who collectively represent the pinnacle of an internationally loved scene and genre. Being a dedicated trance fan myself, working with artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Aly and Fila, Ferry Corsten and Jorn Van Deynhoven has been one of the personal highlights of my photographic career.
Whilst the trance and hardstyle scene is where the majority of my time is spent, my experience extends to beyond just dance music. Over the course of my photographic career, I've been blessed enough to work with the likes of Wu Tang Clan, Lupe Fiasco and Everlast. When you're as passionate about music as I am, your love knows no limits, especially not limits set by genre.
Studio photography mostly shot for musicians, magazines and online publications associated with industry heavyweights such as Ministry of Sound, Soapbox Artists, Masif Saturdays and Le Clubz TV.
Showcasing the extensive work I have done with several models during my tenure as a photographer, this album is dedicated to both fashion and personal modelling portfolios. I strive to find a unique perspective for each individual's shoot, which is why I like to spend a day with the subject, getting to understand them, before beginning the shoot.
The soul and character of a city is evident within its physical structures, that is, it's very buildings. As a result, I love to walk the streets of wherever I may be, capturing that soul within this architecture oriented album.
Whilst colour brings joy, intensity and so much emotional depth to an image, sometimes the facts (or the images in this case) speak for themselves. No colour, nothing extra needed, just a pristine moment illustrated perfectly in tones of black and white.
Dance music is by it's very nature diverse, unashamedly strange, eclectic and creative. So, it only makes sense that the fans, the punters, the ones that bring the scene alive are all of these things and more. Here, you'll find dancers, you'll find faces in the crowd, you'll find the souls that put months into synchronising their exteriors with the wild interior. Here, in this album, you'll find the people of dance.
